Design and display

The 45 × 45 × 11.5 mm watch weighs 41 g including its band. Polar specifies a plastic case, aerospace-aluminium bezel and Gorilla Glass over a 1.2-inch, 240 × 240 always-on MIP display. MIP prioritises outdoor legibility and efficiency rather than AMOLED colour. The watch is rated WR50 and tested against MIL-STD-810G guidelines.

Running and navigation

Features include integrated barometer, compass, wrist-based running power, Hill Splitter, route and elevation profiles, Komoot-powered turn-by-turn guidance, Back to Start, Training Load Pro, Running Index and the Running Performance Test. It supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS, but it does not provide offline maps. This desk review makes no independent GPS or heart-rate accuracy claim.

Useful RunHQ reading includes the 10K taper framework, mobility reset and Australian running coverage.
